We came out here to let my daughter play in the sand and to take in the view. My grandfather who lives in the area says it isn't the best beach nearby for swimming, but it is a beautiful place to relax, walk or ride bikes. We had a blast walking the shoreline, building sand castles and watching the birds.... More

Not too big, not too small, not overcrowded, nice beach! There is good fishing, swimming, and the kids caught a bunch of hermit crabs in the water... The parking is right along the beach and they have bathrooms and rental equipment right there too. Such a nice find....

Great venue for a park on the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful beach, restroom houses (2), small rental stand for kayaks and paddle boats. Rode our bicycles out the the end and got our feet wet in the water. Haven't been there yet for a sunset, but it would be a completely unobstructed view.

This park has nice beaches and is beautiful. You could spend an entire day here. The causeway leads out to the beach area where you pay for parking.

This review is in respect of sunset as haven't been to the beach during the day. We'd previously visited nearby Sunset Beach to view the sun going down (you can see the beach across the bay) but probably this park is better as there's more space and viewing opportunities - we stopped on the causeway but you can drive further... Amazing park, the entrance makes you think you are in a oak forest. As you continue, you enter the beach/water area where there is a fee for parking. The causeway leads you the large beach area which is spectacular. Lots of activities from walking, biking, kayaking, fishing and yes swimming. The beach is wide and the views are stunning. It's...
