Fred Howard Park consists of 155 acres and is located on the Gulf of Mexico. It's location provides access to the Gulf by a 1-mile long causeway. The white sandy beach is a popular swim area and also provides a perfect location to view spectacular sunsets.

Love this park. Great for biking, walking, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sunbathing! This place has it all. BBQ pavilions are an added bonus!

This is a well kept little park with sandy beaches and a shaded area for picnics. It's off the main path in tarpon springs but worth the ride even if you're not swimming.

Great in the evenings to watch the sunset. not too crowded. Take a stroll across the causeway. Very relaxing.

No, there is not any overnight camping in this park or any other park around the general area. Howard and most other county/city parks are accessible from dawn to dusk in this area.

Yes. Go to Pinellas County website. Parks and Recreation. Different prices for military, seniors, etc. Pass is good for all Pinellas County parks.
