Curtis Hixon has so many events that can be overwhelming but fun. Parking can be challenging during their events. Check their website for events such as opera in the park or BBQ fest. If you like to stroll, bicycle or run, then head down there....More

I don't know if ts approved by the city, but they should allow food trucks and kiosks down by the water for folks on lunch or visiting when no events are going on.
