This is one of a handful of 1920s vintage movie houses left in the U.S. that has been maintained and restored. It comes complete with a giant organ that rises out of the stage, and before nearly every showing, there is about a half hour...More

We had 4:30PM will call tickets on CHRISTMAS DAY 12/25/2018. We parked on the east side of Franklin on Polk St. As soon as we got out of the car we were accosted by a street beggar. We then crossed Polk to Franklin to be...More

Overall, this is a cool although slightly creepy feeling venue. My daughter and I attended a movie here and the interior and concession stand are very nice. The upstairs bathroom was awful though. It was clean but appeared to be literally falling apart and smelled...More

This theatre is very historical, it's like you're walking through time. I saw the movie "The Bookshop" there, great movie. I would recommend seeing a movie there just to explore the inside of this beautiful establishment.

This theatre is so beautiful and old! Watching movies here is so awesome, watching silent films with the organ player playing is truly an experience. This is a place you want to go!

Be sure to get to the theatre a bit early so you can stroll around and take in the interior. Absolutely gorgeous venue. We were there on a Sunday afternoon to catch one of the last "summer series" films (Casablanca) and were entertained by the...More

I've been to this theatre for shows and backstage tours. The staff is always friendly! Cheap food and drinks and even the show tickets are cheap. Just be sure to buy tickets in advance because some stuff does sell out fast. The recent renovations are...More

The Tampa theatre is gorgeous on the inside. Great classic films. Every year my son and I attend the interactive Rocky Horror Picture Show which is a blast. They also hold Oscar Night here which is a great event.

Normally, the organ player will begin playing about 30 minutes before the start of the show. However, if they’re showing a silent movie, the organ player will play throughout the film. My wife and I were fortunate to hear... More
