This is the place to go to see lots of Manatees... along with Rays and game fish! Best time to visit is winter/early Spring.

I took my science classes on a field trip here. It was a half day field trip. It was very educational and coloring pages and puzzles were available for my 6 graders. There were plenty of picnic tables in a shady, covered shelter for which...More

Great for a leisurely outing! Great for the little ones. Manatees are not always there but exciting to see when they are.

We love this place when the waters around Tampa Bay get cooler. The manatees come here by the dozens. Sometimes there are so many, you don't get to see them all.

We've been a few times and it's a must see destination during manatee season. The Viewing Center has a few activities and great wild life to see if you have the time to sit and enjoy. They really did a nice job of making it...More

They are typically there in the cooler weather trying to stay in the warmer water. I believe the sight is open all year.
