Attended a national conference and the building is gorgeous. Escalators helped when traveling with bulking items. Only wish there were more vending machines available.

Recently visited for a convention and loved the convention center. Great people, updated rooms and wonderful views. The food was not great - but its typical convention center food.

Attended a conference here and it was a large conference center in a beautiful location right on the Tampa Bay. There are several restaurants nearby as well as an outdoor pub right outside of the center. There's also attractions right outside for boat rentals and Ferry rides.

When I attended a convention at the Tampa Convention Center, I was pleased with how attractive the facility and its "riverwalk" view is, how effectively it's laid out, how convenient the convention food booths are, and how large the main ballroom is. The only complaint I have is that, after the convention center's parking lot filled up, reaching additional parking... More

There was a walk for breast cancer happening in the area the day we were there. I can't believe the number of people - but they had a high school drum group playing and it was awesome! The area around here is just beautiful. We strolled for quite some time. It was a perfect day, a beautiful river front area,... More

A very sterile venue for a convention. Apart from a UPS outlet and a small snack bar, there is nothing else for delegates to do and relax etc. The place was a ghost town before and after the conference I attended. Should take a page from Suntec City Singapore's playbook and see how it's done.

Clean, great staff....lack of restrooms for our size of convention was a stickler for a lot of other convention attendees....Great location....Riverwalk view beautiful for breaks between meetings.

The convention center is medium sized. Plan on a lot of walking. Elevators are moody and occasionally go down. There is an escalator as well that works a majority of the time. If you go to the bar outside plan on waiting a while and having a limited selection. If you are trying to grab a quick bite and beverage... More
