We visited for the primary purpose of seeing the sports photo exhibit. What a great show! The photos range from the famous (Muhammed Ali standing over a knocked out Sonny Liston) to the not so famous (a before and after photo set of a kid playing his first football game). There's a fabulous photo of a young Ali standing at... More

I love coming to this museum, they have great permanent exhibits as well as ongoing new ones. Very nice facility, extremely helpful staff and great specials at times.

Went with teenage son and husband. Had a great time. It was a small enough collection to spend a couple of hours admiring and becoming inspired.

This is definitely not an extensive space, but the special exhibit I observed (Sports Photography) was very good.

An absolutely beautiful Art Museum. This is a great venue located right next to Curtis Hixon park. They have an awesome restaurant, and giftshop attached as well! This is a fantastic place to have a wedding. I actually performed at this venue for a wedding and it was one of the most beautiful events I have ever seen! Another great... More

We have lived here a year but never visited. Relatives from CA love art museums so we took them and everyone very much enjoyed the selection of exhibits.

We really enjoyed an afternoon there. It is a gorgeous museum and the staff is wonderful. The location is great, too...for a tourist to be able to walk by the river was an additional treat, and there is a water taxi station nearby. We saw the Cuban Art exhibit and it was outstanding! I needed a gift for someone we... More

Whether a local or a visitor to the Tampa Bay area take an afternoon to enjoy the latest special exhibition at the Tampa Museum of Art: Who Shot Sports. I have visited the museum many times and am well aware that it is a world-class venue,. However, I was relatively neutral about viewing this special exhibition as I only enjoy... More

While it's a very small museum, pieces by Esterio Segura and other Cuban artists currently on display make this worth a stop. The Carole Feuerman sculptures are impressive and well displayed. I will not comment on the antiquities as they hold no interest for me. Guests of Le Meridian, Aloft & Sheraton downtown hotels have free admission to the museum.
