I visited Ybor City with a friend. If you are not a drinker and a smoker, there is nothing much to do there except visiting the restaurants there, which mostly not that fancy. However, it was interesting to see how they roll cigars (LoL). Not...More

We expected this to be a “destination” with shopping, bars and restaurants...a place to spend several hours. On a Thursday evening, however, it was completely empty. We just went to one restaurant and went back to our hotel. Perhaps it is different on the weekends?...More

Fascinating revival of historic district in Tampa, FL old part of city. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, everyone will find something fitting his/her taste. History of cigar rolling, you can watch them to do it. We were during daytime, but I can only imagine...More

Ybor used to to be such a great place to visit but not anymore. No shops, sparce good restaurant choices, basically nothing to do during the afternoon. Not a safe place after 11 p.m. either

Bars are fun and lively. Be sure to visit Bad Monkey and Doubledecker. They are right nextdoor to each other. There are also many restaurants in the area, but we didn't try any. Historic, New Orleans vibe area of tampa.

There are many things to do in Ybor City. The group that I was with just took an Uber down and we found a lot of things to do even on a rainy night. I would totally suggest it.

We had a fun time walking around and had a good lunch at firehouse. Lots of cigar shops and bars. Bands playing in bars can be heard out in the streets. Lots of shopping stores also.

Located few minutes drive from Tampa downtown, this place felt like a complete different world to me. I've had a feeling of visiting Cuba or some similar country, while seeing men in the coffee shop to roll hand-made cigars. Quite unique experience.
