This is one district in Tampa that you have to visit. This is center of Cuban, Italian, Spanish heritage which is at the root of Tampa's multi-ethnic culture. Stroll around on a sunny day and get a cup of coffee, a cuban sandwich and a hand-rolled cigar (if that is your style). Visit the Italian club, the Ybor museum. Don't... More

I have only been to Ybor city once but can't wait to go back. There are numerous restaurants, bars, and lounges that seem to be very popular and fun. There are also ice cream shops and cigar stores where you can watch people rolling a cigar right in front of your eyes. I had dinner there and walked around but... More

Always a great time. Aside from the corner crusaders preaching hate from their bibles. Other than that fun.

I went down here with my cousin, we had a good time. I especially like the Hookah lounge it was great my second time down here. We even went to the jazz house the music was on point.

Plenty of places to eat and drink, some more family friendly than others. You can spend a couple of hours here at the most. Some nice old buildings to look at. Plenty of parking areas.

It is a great place to visit and explore during the daytime. After hours it can become a violent crazy mess. So if you are going to go ensure you go while the sun is out, or take a bottle of mase.

Whilst in Tampa for 2 days we staid in Ybor. It was a great location with easy access from the airport and to downtown Tampa. Ybor during the day had a relaxing atmosphere but later at night it becomes a party town. This means for someone staying in a local hotel it means there are plenty of options for bars... More

The trolley access the tourist areas of downtown is inexpensive and really reliable. We were able to catch it right outside of our hotel and get into Ybor city in about 20 minutes. Once there my 14 year old son and I found very little of interest. The area was rife with eateries, tattoo shops and bars--and that's about it.... More

Ybor is a must see for anyone visiting the Tampa area. It was started by cuban cigar makers. I love the old historic buildings , cobbled streets and roosters and chickens running free! During the day its pretty relaxed and great for exploring and finding a great place to eat. The streets are lined with restaurants and bars with retro... More

This place is loaded with places that makes cigars , a Distillery and tons of food. I recommend some booze from Florida cane Distillery and some empanadas from tequilas.
