Afternoon of relaxation

Nice place. Not very big but a great way to spend a couple of hours just relaxing. Access with the local trolley from downtown Tampa.

I believe that the price of the admission is based on location only. The length of the exhibition, the hours of operation and the amount of species does compensate the price of the admission. Is more like a Elementary School field trip.

I love the Florida Aquarium! Nice tiki bar and place to watch the kiddos play at a small splash park.

We stopped here on our way through Tampa as we like aquariums. The guy on the reception desk was very helpful and informative. There is a lot in this aquarium, not only fish, however there were areas which were almost impossible to get to due to the numbers of visitors.

Our children are just under 3 and they seemed to really enjoy the aquarium. Coming here from the Chicago area, we are used to the Shedd, but this aquarium is a great size for younger children. It is stroller friendly and has a lot of great viewing opportunities. The splash pad was also a lot of fun. We came in... More

The Florida Aquarium is small but has a lot to see in that small space. There are no big fish but they do well with the fish that are there. They also have bird, reptile and small mammals there too. If you are looking for dolphins sharks or orcas, the Clearwater aquarium is a better option. However, the Florida aquarium... More

I liked the aquarium and all the fishes. It's a nice place to enjoy a day with the family. We signed up to do a swimming interaction and it was pretty fun but a little complicated for my 8 year old. First of all her mask wasn't really good she kept getting water and having to go up to get... More

We have been to this aquarium a few times and enjoyed it very much. You are only there for 2 to 3 hours since is not very big. The have different fish and they have a Florida wetland are and a Madagascar area. If you have little kids is a fun place to take them. They also have show where... More

This Aquarium is so beautiful. I just enjoyed being here. The penguins were my favorite. They even have a 'theatre' section that looks like a huge tank. It's great! Please visit when you get a chance.
