I played this golf course for years until the city of Tamarac acquired ownership about 3 years ago. At the end it was a sadly neglected club by the previous owners and all the regular members left for greener fairways. Not so now, it's on the way back to being in good condition. I rated it average, but it's better... More

If you have been playing Florida courses, there is nothing special. Okay place to play a round of golf with decent budget if the conditions are good. I played mid Feb-16 and the course was very dry and greens in bad shape.

New Year's Eve at the golf club. To end the year, we decided to spend it at the Colony West Country Club to support our local golf. Tables were all set ready for us to arrive and spend this last day of 2015 in a happy mood. Live music accompanied these few hours left. The meal was well prepared and... More

Colony West is a 36 hole facility that is open to the public. This is perfect for a quick round and if you can do it, it is an easy walking course. The West course is the shorter of the two eighteens and will test your short game. Fairways are wide and generous. Greens were in good shape and ran... More

Colony West is club I have played most. I played every weekend as a member of the snowbirds. I played during the week with customers, principles and friends, all these memories come back. The staff is great. The maintenance is great. Today, I am with Hal, for a beer, cheeseburger & fries. The food and place are excellent.

This course is typical of the old Florida courses. Not a lot of trouble, but enough to keep you on your toes. The greens and fairways are in good shape. For the price it's a great vlue.

My husband plays golf and always comes here for the short course, which is his favorite. We enjoyed the prime rib special on Tuesday - great price and delicious. The dining area is appealing with views of the 18th and a nice bar in the middle of the room. Service was a bit slow, and seemed lacking for the numbers... More

I really loved this golf course. The holes were just the right amount of challenge without being so tough that you want to throw your club. The scenery it stunning. They keep the course in really good shape, but the greens are super super fast!! Putting on this course will break you if you aren't aware of just how crazy... More
