This museum combines the history of Florida from prehistoric times to the present. It draws you in with realistic dioramas, pictures, and interactive displays. I'm not much of a museum person, but my husband is. I was actually pleasantly surprised how interesting this museum was and how much there was to see. If you are in town, check it out, it's free.

it all depends on your level of interest in the various exhibits, as others have aptly described. 3-4 hours would be completely adequate, I'd think. that would include time-outs for a snack and some sit down time to relax... More
