The docents were very nice and welcoming and gave a brief history of the building. The building contained a lot of local history but was very poorly displayed which made it difficult to make sense of it.
Treasures everywhere, all in the eyes of the beholder. Interesting stories thru out. That Ashley gang would have made any big city proud. My wife who is in the school system loved the rules for school teachers, a must read for a good laugh.

After walking some distance we finally came upon the Heritage Museum. Small but jam packed with a lot of historical information.
You can get a staff member to walk around with you and get a more indepth understanding of the past.
