After walking some distance we finally came upon the Heritage Museum. Small but jam packed with a lot of historical information. You can get a staff member to walk around with you and get a more indepth understanding of the past.

I like to seek out those museums that provide a history focused on the local area, and the Stuart Heritage Museum didn't disappoint. The museum is located in an old feed supply store, which was also used as a fish house. Parking for the museum...More

Truly a hidden jewel, this museum is run by volunteers that have lived the experiences that they showcase. Take the time to talk with the docents as they are the best!
