Took daughter and young grandson visiting from out of town, wanted to go to the beach. Nice playground area, snack bar with food, soft drinks and ice cream. Friendly service and plenty of parking.

Yes it's the gulf...no it's not like the beaches to the south..water is too shallow..but great for the kids to play in..and okay to put a sand chair in the water and catch some rays..food and beverages can be purchases..I think there is grilling area

We went here for an evening stroll after being cooped up indoors whist it rained all day. Had a lovely walk along the sand and onto what looks like a new deck area (looked different to the one there two years ago?) the beach boards...More

Have only visited twice and would not consider returning. Too many no see ums, got bitten all over both times. Parking is extremely limited. It may be that bugs don't like me, but if they don't bother you, it's ok for a quick dip and...More

Has a snack bar, outside showers, bathrooms, playgroung, beautiful beach shelters with grills, plenty of parking. Every time we go, we see dolphins. Highly recommend! But get there early, on weekends, spaces fill up quick. Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Handicapped accessible. Sidewalks

I live 10 minutes from this small local beach. Parking is very limited, so if you want to go, I suggest getting there very early. Nice, relaxing and family friendly. They have a small food shack if you get hungry, but the prices are really...More

We went on a Sat. it was very crowded, in fact we were the last car allowed in, they were turning cars behind us away. Nice beach, but with the red tide in Sarasota we were a little concerned about the bacteria coming that way....More

Very Nice . Enjoy going here in the late afternoon and evening because it is small. Very relaxing when not crowded. Really small parking area and when the parking spots are full - no admittance. Great place.

I didn’t have free parking. They charge parking at all beaches in Florida that I’ve visited. I assume it’s to care for the beaches since there is no State income tax.

Weddings have been performed there. I think you have to contact a local wedding planner to arrange this sort of thing. Not sure if you can contact the park directly.
