I enjoyed my visit to this park! It is beautiful! We went on the glass bottom boats. That was cool, but the guide did not clean off the soap on the bottom of the boat! Whenever I would take a photo it would focus on...More

We went on the glass bottom boat ride. Our guide was awesome. The views were great. Today it was hot and sunny. Bring sunscreen and water as needed They do have an area to get food and drinks.

We were looking for someplace to spend my birthday. My criteria are simple: we all have to agree and have fun. We awoke too late to venture to an amusement park and we couldn’t all agree on other attractions until my eldest daughter recommended the...More

A lovely tranquil place where you can sit in a rocker overlooking the springs and relax. You can pay extra on your admission and go on the glass bottom boat 1/2 hour tour which is quite good seeing under the water without the fear of...More

I have lived in Florida all my life and have never been here. The glass bottom boat trip was great. The family got to see all the Florida water life. We saw turtles, fish, 5 ft gator, and saw Manatees. It was a rare occasion...More

Compared to other Florida State Parks a 3 rating is generous. However, there is a clear attempt to improve this once great place for family and active adventures. We rented kayaks for the day and the river was wonderful though crowded with motored craft. The...More

I have been to other old attractions that have now become State Parks and was very happy with them Weekie Wachie, and Homassasa Springs were great. Not so with Silver Springs they have taken every thing out except the Glass Bottom Boats. The Glass Bottom...More

Although the Park was lovely (nature wise) as we walked around and were interested in the historic site on the ground. As we approached the buildings, we were told we were off limits because the public school system owned it. What a shame, as a...More

My last trip to Silver Springs was 35 years ago, and I was glad to share this old timey place with our grandchildren last week. It is not Disney World, it is not an electronic playground, it is old Florida with beautiful trails, lovely springs...More

The boat ride is really the only attraction at the park. You pay an entrance fee and then have to buy the boat ride ticket. The glass bottom boat ride was cool you can see very clearly thru the water. The entire ride is maybe...More

If you see a gator you move away from it. They are not normally aggressive, don't feed, touch or mess with them in any way. Always stay aware of your environment. I watch closely for snakes myself, but usually only when in... More

No. I believe there are no swimming signs and alligator warning signs. You can kayak/canoe though.

Yes, everything is a separate fee now. If you're staying in the campground you don't have to pay the kayak/canoe launch fee. If you go early or late you can see into the water quite well.
