A continuation of Siesta Beach a very comfortable beach with the finest white sand we have found anywhere. The sunsets from the beach are beyond spectacular!

Unusual grey sand but clean and attractive. Plenty of parking and a good playground for the kids. The grey sand is not dirt but a kind of quartz sand.

If you are looking for a much quieter beach than Siesta Key Public Beach then Turtle Beach might be for you. The sand isn't the white powder like substance you find at Siesta Beach and the beach itself is much more narrow but it's still...More

We kayaked to Turtle beach and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of entertainment watching the pelicans diving into the water to catch fish. You can also park and walk right on to beach.

The shelling is good and it is quieter than Siesta Beach. The sand is coarser than Siesta beach, more like normal. There are bathrooms but concessions

Very nice beach and not very crowded compared to Siesta Beach. The sand is almost black and nicely compacted which allowed my friend who has a hard time walking to make it to the ocean. I was told it is mainly locals at this beach...More

We were vacationing from up north. We wanted to get away from the cold weather for a week. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly here, too. So we didn't go into the water. But it was a nice beach. Had some good parking areas. Not...More

Really nice beach, the sand is not as soft or white as Siesta beach but I nice little area with much smaller crowds. Also a great place to find some decent shells.

75-80 degrees and sun. Sunsets every night where epic. Visit Siesta Beach, stay at Turtle Beach. No traffic! We are already planning to go back.

Very nice beach, south end of the key. Great for shells, watching the Pelicans fish and even saw some dolphins right off the shore. Salt and Pepper colored sands.

Not sure why all sand is not the same, but I do know that Turtle Beach sand is more course and made up from shells while Siesta Key, Lido, Cresent sand is made up of quartz so it is soft and powdery. Turtle beach is a nice... More
