Turtle Beach is my perfect for families. We took our 15 month old here and she had a blast. It was great because it wasn't crowded. Clear water was perfect. Fishermans Cove is a great place to stay with the beach only steps away.

Turtle beach is our favorite, especially at sunset. This is not one of the crowded beaches, but is every bit as nice as the more frequented Key beaches. Some of the best sunsets ever. You sit on the soft sand, look straight out across the...More

This beach had totally different sand than siesta key. It's more gray and "shelly". The water was pretty rough while we were there and there were several banks as opposed to flat sand to walk out on. It was a best beach though and we...More

Going to our favorite place and seeing friends is the way bringing in the New Years should be. Love ❤️ when we just travel together and hit the beach! Turtle 🐢 Beach Roatan, Honduras 🇭🇳 is a must do on your list!

My husband and I love Turtle Beach. If you want to relax and be close to the water after you step on the beach you are at the right place. A lot has been done to make Turtle Beach even better than it was in...More

We stayed about a block from this beach and it was definitely much more laid back and quiet than Sk beach. Sand is not like Sk but shells galore and a better spot for wave activities. Nice shaded playground and outdoor showers and free parking.

What an absoulutly beautiful stunning beach and the sea view is breath taking . A very quiet beach hardly anyone on the beach and just tranquil but the sand is hard to walk on because it's mixed with shells so beware of bare feet but...More

Went on the free trolley and had a quick walk on to this beach. Beautifully clean, wilder than Siesta Key Beach, but there are facilities a short walk away. Well served by the free trolley.

Take Clark Road (Rt 72) West to Stikney Bridge over to Siesta Key. Once over and to the "T" in the road, go LEFT. Travel on Midnight Pass Rd (South) for @2 miles or so and Turtle Beach will be on the Right. IF you go past... More
Why is the sand so much course and hotter at Turtle beach than the rest of Siesta key beaches? We could barely walk on it. Went to Cresent beach and the sand was fine and white.

Not sure why all sand is not the same, but I do know that Turtle Beach sand is more course and made up from shells while Siesta Key, Lido, Cresent sand is made up of quartz so it is soft and powdery. Turtle beach is a nice... More

Not sure, but I think Siesta Key Public beach it kinda far from Turtle Beach....I would say no. Maybe call some of the places in Turtle Beach and ask them? Call a restaurant maybe under the pretense of eating there. Or call... More
