We were hoping the red tide/algae problem would have passed by now. While there are not as many dead creatures as a few days ago, they are still there. The water is an ugly green yellow, there are shiny silver bodies in the sand about...More

I have been going to this beach for the last 32 years. It is very laid back and quiet beach to visit.

Stay away from the area. If you have respiratory issues you should not go. Do not swim in the water.

Wife and I enjoyed some relaxation on Crescent Beach. Great place to watch the sunset. There are several hotels and resorts situate on the beach with chairs and umbrella rentals. The beach is clean with a great view.

This is an excellent alternative to the hustle and bustle of the always busy Siesta Key Beach. It’s a short drive away and a peaceful place to spend the day.

I am not a beach person by nature, but this was a beautiful beach! Nice clear water, soft white sand and tame waves. It entertained both the teen and the preschooler. The water was gentle enough that our 4 year could swim without being tethered....More
