Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The dinos are made very well with a bit of movement and sounds. Our toddler loved seeing all the different dinos. A lot has been packed in a small space but enjoyable. Kids love the playground which is good for small toddlers through to little kids. Food options are limited for example just some hotdogs, chips and sausage on bread. There are picnic tables and you can bring your own food. We spent about 90 minutes including playtime and a little snack time.

Great little park. Both grandsons 3 and 41/2 loved it. Even 12 month old was intrigued. Yes dinosaurs in park were old but kids didn’t mind and the fact that some roared and moved was fabulous. Great picnic area and when we were having picnic some staff dressed up with dinosaur costumes and kids loved it. Staff very friendly. My only complaint is toilets should be beside picnic area and not out of the park near parking area. Way too far if a little one needs to go.

Recently I stumble into a world of dinosaurs. They were huge, monster like creatures, breathing, vocal sounds and with body movements. Oh! you have got to meet Wilson. It is a children paradise with a workshop and tours.

I had a very bad experience in this place this morning with the man claim to be the manager, Jesse. This was my first time here and pay the ticket by cash. Under the recommendation by Jesse, also paid extra 8 dollars for the 'Dig and Discover' extra program. Gone in with my 2 year old, once reached to the dig and discover location, it is not staffed and signed 'closed'. While asking about it from the staff at the food stall, she told me they are under staffed, she can open the place up if someone came to replace her in the food stall. Which I found odd as they were still selling me ticket. I didn't think too much at the time, it is understandable especially during this covid climate. I thought it will be a easy refund at the end.
Spent about half an hour at the place before coming out. I communicated to Jesse about the issue where I cannot access the service I paid for. He said he is happy to refund me the extra $8 dollars if I return the 'Token'. And this was the first time I heard this Token, a red plastic disk.
I told him I was never given a token by him. He insisted he has. It is not a big place, in my mind it will be a easy verification with the staff inside that I didn't access the 'Dig and Discover' and refund me the money. However, instead of providing a solution, he just would not looking into talking to the staff inside and wouldn't admit he actually did not give me the token to start with. While he agreed with me there is a surveillance camera recording of the office which will review the initial ticket purchasing. He has refused to look into it.
To the owner: I am not sure what kind of scam this Jesse, is running at your place. It is not so much about the $8 but a lack of management skills and understanding. Not to mention it is him that failed to give me the token. A simple rewind of the surveillance camera this morning (10/12/2022) would easily review that. Just watch out for this person, not sure if it is because I paid cash. I wasn't given a receipt either.

Left feeling disappointed.
We took our 4 year old granddaughter here as a treat and really couldn't see any value in the entry fee.
Although she loves dinosaurs, she and many other children preferred to use the playground.
Unfortunately there wasn't much on offer food wise and the fella manning the shop turned me right off when he sneezed without covering his mouth and you could see the spray coming from his mouth. DISGUSTING!

The dinosaurs are really engaging and the dig and find is a nice add on for slightly older children. But overall it is around an hours entertainment for under 5s and not good value. The train looked like fun, but was not in use and the whole area looked grubby and uncared for. It needs a good clean up and some expansion before we consider returning.

My 2 grandsons and I visited DINOSAUR WORLD - we absolutely loved it. The bouts were so excited to see the life sized Dino’s and loved the fossil find activity. It was very fairly priced . The staff we so friendly and we were overjoyed to contribute to an Aussie owned business. A simple afternoon that didn’t leave us exhausted. Looking forward to returning soon.

It took us an hour to drive here hoping for a good day out. Really overpriced for what u get. 30 mins and your done and even the train ride wasn’t working. For the price I am not sure what they are doing with the income, it’s def not going back into maintaining the park. The dinosaurs need a good brush down to get all the cob webs off them.
Come on guys, pick up your game a little. We won’t be returning.

To say that this place is a "World of Dinosaurs" would be the same thing to say that an ant has the weight of an elephant. the place is expensive and charges admission of children from two years. I spent $ 42 and in less than 15 minutes had already been around the "world". Definitely not worth it.

IT SUCKS IT SUCKS IT SUCKS! Did I mention it sucks?
I can't believe how much this costs for what you get. Firstly, it costs way too much. $85 so I could take a quick five minute stroll around and look at some plus sized dinosaur toys. For the price I paid, I could buy multiple animatronic dinosaur toys that do far more than those models do, and put on my own show. There was also a tour of a REALLY SMALL Christmas tree farm. And what the hell does a Christmas tree farm have to do with dinosaurs?! Even my four year old brother could tell that they were fake. I could see rocks and other props in clear view with cords and electronic operators. I didn't dinosaurs had electricity in the prehistoric times. There were very few dinosaurs. There was a small sandpit where children could get sandy and tired so they dig for a mud covered skeleton where they would then have to remove the mud and get their hands all dirty for the sake of a plastic, tiny, cheap dinosaur skeleton. Don't even get me started on the human dressed as a "dinosaur" with his legs clearly visible and yelling like he had just been stung by a bee. Wilson the dinosaur wasn't really exciting either. The service was horrible.
Overall, I do not recommend this for children over age of two because they charge from two years up. Seriously, unless you are looking to completely bore yourself to death or waste a lot of money that could of been spent in many better ways, do NOT come here. It's a such a beautiful piece of land that could be occupied by such better things.

when did you visit our park? It says you visited in Feb 2015, if that is the case why would you write such a scathing review 12 months later?

Do you have any concession for kids with Autism or is this a basic price range? I have read all the postings and they mostly said about the cost being high for the small amount thats there but I don't mind paying full price but having a grandchild with special needs I look for places to take him and that interest him and also look at the pricing.. He does love Dinosaurs and we found you by accident driving to visit a relative.. Good to know we can also picnic there as we try to give him a full day out..

Hi, we have just the one price for children of $12 entry. We have 21 big dinosaurs in our park - 16 of which move and are very loud and life like. Both kids and adults love them. We also have Wilson our walking dinosaur that comes out to say hello throughout the day - makes for a great photo. There is also a free carriage ride around our Christmas Tree Plantation. We have our dig and discover where the child can dig in our enormous sandpit to find a fossil and chisel away to see what is inside, they take their fossil home as a keepsake. This is an additional $8 for the Dig and Discover, but it is up to you whether or not to do this. We have bbq facilities, picnic tables and our dinosaur playground so we do encourage families to bring a picnic, enjoy the outdoors and dine with our dinosaurs. Thank you for your enquiry and hope to see you when we reopen first weekend in September.
