Not sure r e how to explain the place, but really interesting to visit. Lots of items you won't find elsewhere. Owner on site and interesting to talk with.

Unfortunately the store is still open, but the mines have closed. The owner is trying to find a new person to run it, so they are still advertising the mines. We arrived only to find we could buy bags of dirt to sift through along...More

We must have drove for miles i really enjoyed myself. And my in laws as well and the owner was an encyclopedia when it came to gemstoning and minerals.

Carol you probably should call them Monday morning to check, but it is an outdoor activity and not usually crowded, so I don't see why they mind. They are really cool people
