Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very nice cape shape park in the very center of downtown Sarasota in the middle of its bay. It's a great place to visit and it's pretty easy, as there's a big parking lot just in front of it.
The park has a nice path offering great views of downtown and the marina as well. Nice kids playground and banyan trees.
Close by is an Unconditional surrender sculpture, a great photo op.

One of the best parks you will find anywhere. Beautiful views, great for walking or biking, see many ocean birds, etc. There are also several restaurants to enjoy. As visitors who enjoy taking a walk, we went there everyday and sometimes twice a day.

My friend and I visited this park and had a lovely time looking at the boats in the marina, people watching, and enjoying the lovely day. Then we walked over to the park part, swung on the metal bench swings, read all the banner displays on diversity, etc., then sat for an hour watching the pelicans diving for food. Finished our visit with a cocktail outside of O’Leary’s Tiki Bar and grill.

The park was surprisingly empty (a positive) given the population density of driving thru Sarasota to get to it. Allow an extra 20-30 minutes on a weekend from I-75to Longboat Key ( a huge negative!) In the park, there is a nice play area for children nearby the water and nice walking/riding paths. It suited our needs with young grandkids. You knew there was a dog park as you would occasionally hear a pack of dogs barking together. The issue for me after not going to Lido or Longboat Keys in 35 years is all the car and people traffic!

Nice walking area with great views of the bay and downtown. Calm waters and little sandy beach areas alongside the walkway. Much of the park was blocked off with huge fences, otherwise 5/5.

I take my kids here regularly. It is really nice to get exercise and feel the cool breeze off the water. I would avoid during any special event due to crowds. The splash pad has been closed for a while now, and though I've heard that they are planning to remodel it, I would love it if they did it sooner rather than later. Because of the pandemic, my 4-year-old sons have barely had a chance to enjoy it and now it is closed!

This was my first time in Sarasota and decided to take a stroll through this park because it was close to a hotel where we were staying at. It is a great park for a walk, run or to take some pictures on the bay. Saw some people sitting on the bench and just reading a book and enjoying the day. Parking was free and we also had lunch in one of the restaurants there. The living seawall is a great tourist attraction!

This is an amazing place to watch the sunset with your furry friend. The dog park is a pretty good size, parking is free and there is a Tiki bar that has a decent menu. All right in Sarasota. There is a marina and you can walk and see the boats. They have free yoga classes too. I am new to the area and this is park I will definitely comen back to.

Terrifically well maintained, very central to the town, lovely place to sit, walk, jog, ponder. It seems to be a big draw, and is well used. Many benches to sit on, all with pleasant views over boats, water, and the skyline.
