This park has a beautiful boardwalk through the mangroves and playground units. A lovely place to fish or barbecue. Truly a beautiful place to visit or to bring visitors.

A quick Google search reveals that I am far from the only devotee of this park. It is shaded, has a playground and lots of trees and picnic tables, and it has one of the best views of the city of Sarasota across the Bay....More

this park is impressively taken care of. You will not believe the view and the cleanness. We visit this park every time we visit the town and plan a BBQ day on it. Be aware of mosquitos, thought.

We went for a short walk here and there is nothing really special about the park itself in terms of landscaping and flower gardens. But the views are lovely. You can see Sarasota Bay and the Ringling bridge connecting the Key with the mainland.

Most people who visit Sarasota don't even know this place is here, but if you are biking on Longboat Key or Lido Key, take a ride out to here. It is just beautiful with wonderful views back of Sarasota and the John Ringling Bridge.

A quiet place to relax, take a seat and take in the Bay views and have a picnic or after visiting the Mote Marine Lab or the Salty Dog.

Unless I missed them this park is not well sign posted. It's past the Mote - you just keep driving till you get to the turn circle. There are benches and some covered areas also public washrooms open from 06.00 - 22.00. Lots of opportunities...More

Sorry, can't help. Suggest contact with Longboat Key town council or Chamber of Commerce who might be able to point you to someone who will know. Ken H
