I'd planned to visit the museum for some time. I am not an old car buff, but I went with a friend who knew more about it than I did and he wanted to see the cars. I was really surprised by our guide - he seemed to personally know every car, every car owner of each car, and every... More

I wanted to find a car museum to visit with my Dad to celebrate his 85th birthday. i found Sarasota Classic Car Museum via Tripadvisor. It had good reviews and the pictures of cars on their website looked good. We made the trip from the Orlando area today and it was worth the drive. we spent about 2 hours walking... More

Lots of old cars and other memorabilia to view. A few cars I've never seen. Unfortunately, the place is not kept up well; there are cars with flat tires, broken vehicles with parts missing, things piled in corners, unlabeled. Overall, it's still worth the $14+ price of admission.

There were a few notable cars, driven by the rich and famous, but in general not my idea of a museum.

Being a car guy loved this place , I wish I would have gone alone though , the family was only mildly interested and were waiting on me the whole visit, I could have spent hours here . The collection of cars is great , I would love to go back

This car Museum is a pleasant way to spend your afternoon with great pieces of history. Ringling College often sends their Illustration Majors on field trips to sketch these pieces of art. From time to time they have car shows for the neighborhood to participate. In front of the building is a Flintstones car to get a family picture. There... More

Hey no charge for dad on his day. Was worth the fee anyway. A good variety of cars to peruse. A little history. Much bigger than it looks from the outside with a lot of cars to see. Nice highlights go for it!

We went there with our kids and they were really happy once we left the building. Both are teens and car fans. Some of the cars are funny, others are interesting and then there are the ones that are breathtaking (e.g. Ford GT). So, if you are interested and have nothing else to do for 2 hours, have a look.

Decided to give the Sarasota Classic Car Museum a try since we love looking and different cars. Some of these were amazing, some interesting and some challenged us as to whether we knew about them. The cars are beautiful and the history is detailed on a card by each car. It's an easy place to meander and enjoy.

My husband goes here every time we are in Sarasota. Great place for the boys Big and Small. Interesting displays. I even enjoy seeing all the old cars.
