Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary provides a sanctuary "for life" for the exotic animals currently calling the sanctuary home. Our goal is to create habitats that mimic native environments and are complete with a staff that can provide daily behavioral, sensory, and manipulative enrichment which is the basis for a happy healthy animal in captivity. As we grow and open our habitat to more rescues we will provide the same excellent care while educating the public.

This is truly a sanctuary for big cats and even bears. Life shows featuring birds and big cats are included in the admission. You can't even see these animals in the circus these days.

They have allot more than what you may think by doing a drive by. I took my two young grand daughters and they loved it. To do it all you should plan on about 4 hours time. I will be going back to see what...More

We wanted a place to take our 3 yr old, and this place was awesome! This place has really cool animals and different shows. The place was big enough to walk around, and enough things to see for entertainment. Fun place!

Quite interesting However never sure about caging animals in such small unnatural quarters. Therefore, jury still out on this one.

Questions & Answers
I wrote a true and correct submission to Trip adviser, recently. As noted in the text, were my sources of legal information concerning "Big Cat Habitat". Even though we went to see the Big Cats, we were disappointed. The time was spent on a monkey and some dogs. 1/2 the show was a commentary meant to extract money from a captive audience. Within the sources given, animal rights organizations and years of Government intervention attempts of violations done by Big Cat are a lost cause. My Question to Trip Advisor.....Is it a problem, not to print my submission, under the guise of review? I did my homework and provided the information , so you can do yours. If it is not your policy to tell the truth, then I will only continue to provide nicer things. I am guessing. this will not be printed either.
