An Old Florida attraction since 1939, Sarasota Jungle Gardens allows visitors to experience things you won't find anywhere else. Feed free-roaming flamingos, watch parrots ride bicycles, catch lemurs at play, stare down a vulture, or pet a skunk. Be sure to visit the Flamingo Cafe for a refreshing lunch or snack. Enjoy one or more of our acclaimed animal shows. Annual events include Holiday Lights, select nights in December, and Jungle Trails and Bunny Tails, every year on Good Friday.

Take the kids here. Adults will enjoy it too. The shows are not to be missed. Very well done. Skip the petting zoo part. Have coins on you for Flamingo food. They walk around so you can feed them. They are hilarious!

We were very excited to visit. However, the conditions in which animals were kept was definitely not appropriate. Most animals lacked food, water, companion, and natural greenery. It’s dirty and in need of a lot of improvements. It’s a shame to treat animals like that....More

It's a bit pricy but very interesting. Didn't get to see it all since it's an outdoor venue & it began to pour. Sadly they didn't offer a free re-entry when we were rained out. And Fam8ngos stroll freely! The little cafe was pretty good....More

I couldn’t have been much more disappointed with my visit here. $67 later and feeling horrible for all the animals there. Goats with no water, turtles so covered in moss because they hardly have any shade or water to swim in and they are all...More

We were looking for something different on a warm day and this fit the bill. My teenage daughter loves flamingos and was thrilled to be able to be up. Lose and personal! If you are untying having them eat from your hand, get there early....More

Lots of snakes, gators, birds and fauna. This is a great place for family with kids up to 8-10. Petting farm, reptile and bird shows, gator feeding. Don't miss the flamingos. Good for 2 hours.

There is not a lot of walking. You can tour the whole park in 45 minutes if you want. It depends on how long you want to spend looking at the Flamingos and the beautiful birds. They also have shows to watch with seats.
