Always fun to visit a zoo. Staff was very friendly and enjoyed walking around the lovely grounds until we came upon the Christ area and I have no idea where that comes from. I had no idea this was a religious function. I had been...More

We actually visited here in September 2016 and it was HOT! Bring plenty of water, a hat and sunscreen. You first enter a nice gift shop to purchase your tickets (there is a coupon on their website). Please note there are bathrooms here. There are...More

We went here with friends who live in Sarasota. They know our fondness for animals and birds. If you're looking for a real 'intellectual' experience with Florida wildlife this probably isn't your best venue. But, if you're looking for an afternoon get away that's fun...More

As an Australian, I was pleased to see a kookaburra here. The flamingoes were spectacular; I have not seen flamingoes in such numbers and so close ever. They did not seem to mind one getting quite close. Some of the cages were very dark but...More

Although the park is beautiful, it is absolute chaos for the employees and guests. Don't even try to eat there. We went to have a bit to eat, and the cook was obviously under tremendous stress. We kept seeing this guy named "Chris", who is...More

I decided to visit this attraction since it was local and I enjoy photography. I found it overpriced. Some of the displays could use some maintenance. It was overpriced for the quality, even with a senior discount. I will probably not return, unless someone that...More

We offer discounts for parties of 10 or more. The discounted rate for adults is $14.99 and children over 3 are $9.99. The only requirement is that all admissions needs to be paid by one guest.

Would it be possible for you to include the reduced price admission information on your website? Both my wife and daughter are teachers (wife: Substitute for Sarasota County; daughter Itinerant Deaf and Hearing Impaired Teacher, Brevard County). Unfortunately since there was no mention of discount on website, neither was carrying their ID's. We'll know in the future, of course, but the info might benefit others. Thanks. John

Hi, I'm the GM at Jungle Gardens. I appreciate all of these reviews. It helps us greatly in so many ways to improve quality of product for the customer(s) and improve the quality of life for the animals at the Jungle Gardens. As you may know, a lot of the animals are rescued. I wanted to let you know that the Lemur habitat is temporary. We have something large and quite extrodinary coming that we are very excited about that will be a natural exhibit instead of the zoo like atmosphere. It takes a while to get the funds together, but all of the habitats are slowly being changed over including all primates. We also work with other accredited parks and research institutions closely like the Lemur Society. Please come back within a year to see some really neat changes. Thanks for your review! Sincerely, Chris
