Visited in Feb 2017 during an arts n crafts show, lots of talented vendors! Also enjoyed the local farmer's market on Sunday morning with live music, art vendors and local veggies, breads etc. (but no eggs) Siesta Market is a fabulous little store, clean, friendly service and a great deli! Huge variety of shops, from antiques, art, jewelry, touristy souvenirs,... More

Whether you like to bar hop, shop, or just stroll, a walk through the village is enjoyable. Many attractions are within easy walking distance, well kept and staffed by friendly people. Need beach supplies, no problem, costs are very reasonable. Dacquiri (sp?) Dock serves great mixed drinks at reasonable cost, and of course Dacquris are their specialty...many flavors available.

We spent a week inSarasota and made numerous trips to Siesta village. It is a tropical paradise village with everything a vacationer loves; great shops, large variety of food, Good service, lovely scenery, ample parking and manageable sized crowds. There was an Art and craft fair on our last Sat that was wonderful, so many unique things and high quality... More

There isn't a whole lot to do on Siesta Key other than beach and relax. If you want to do any shopping, this was the best option. There were a handful of cute little gift and beachwear shops, nice little wine shop for tastings, and a nice variety of small local bars and restarants. We got lucky and one of... More

We stayed a block from the village for spring break. There are interesting people, cute shops and a variety of good restaurants. There is live music at many of the bar/restaurants too. You don't have to go far to get everything you need.

Very cute and a big tourist draw. Loads of restaurants and bars all within a few blocks for each access: Park once and see it all. Also just a few blocks from the best beach in Florida and one of the very best in the world. (I have been in over 120 countries and seen many great beaches, yet this... More

Must have been me. I was expecting a village and this is more of a series of shopping spots along a congested street. Didn't feel walking friendly and I didn't see anything that made me want to get out my wallet. Stopped in the tourist office and I got the impression that they were there to sell properties, rentals, and... More
