Walk from St. Armond's on Ringling Blvd to Lido Beach trail and head NORTH on the sand. You are in Paradise!

Few visitors (and locals) take the time to experience the au natural Lido Beach (North Lido Beach). North Lido Beach is not written about too much (because those in the know want to keep it a secret, perhaps?) Because it isn't well known, and there are no life guards, North Lido Beach is for the adventurous only. This is untouched... More

Kids loved picking up all the seashells for their sand castles. Made it a little tough for walking barefoot so bring shoes. Water gets deep fast too so don't have to walk far to get to your waist.

This is a perfect beach to spend the day with family. The water was calm and the beach near the water has some great sand to play in. There is parking along the right side of the road next to the beach (with shower spigots) but if you drive a little further, you will see a big sign that says... More

Lido Beach is a gorgeous yet subtle Beach located on Lido Key, and island near Sarasota. The water is crystal clear and great for kids and families of all ages, whether it's as simple as going in the water or collecting shells along the sand.

I walked the Ringling Bridge to get to Lido Beach and what an amazing and scenic trip that was! Park at Marina Jack (free) and walk the bridge, hit Lido Beach and tour the shops on the way back. It makes for an experience you will never forget.

Just before tons of visitors descend on Florida for the holidays,my 2 twenty somethings and I travelled to the west coast for a bit of sleepy lazy beach time....and lido beach provided perfect sunsets, delicious foods and great shopping just a 10 minute walk away in st Armand's circle-can't wait to do this again-the town is festive and beautifully lit but... Florida has so many beaches it is hard to rate them, Lido is a fantastic beach with soft sand and beautiful water. Would definitely recommend stopping by this Beach if you are in the area.

Nice, clean beach with plenty of parking which is free. Close by lots of shops and good area for walking. The sand is not really soft like in other places, but still nice.

Where else can you invite yourself to a wedding and enjoy a sunset. It is a very nice beach only drawback is going through circle, go to the poll area to get some history of the beaches

We spent a full day. What an amazing beach. A nice mix of old & young people. Not a wild beach. It's more families and couples. If you want rowdy this isn't for you. If you want long walks and hand holding this is the place for you.
