We took advantage of one of the lectures / tours offered. Had a great time learning about the history, the campus and the staff onsite. When on island with families or without I think CROW deserves a visit and support for what they do.

This was our second visit to CROW. This is a rescue hospital for injured wildlife. While we were there, they had brought in an injured pelican; we were able to watch them triaging him on live video feed. Note that some images on the live feed could be disturbing to children, but we saw nothing problematic while we were watching.... More

We recommend visitors sign up for the educational talk by staff member with animal ambassador, an opossum when we visited, and the tour of the veterinary clinic which included discussion of the veterinary resident and intern program and other internships, our guide was a communications major from a university in Ohio. Every effort is made to keep recovering creatures wild,... More

This facility provides much needed care for wildlife in the area. The full tour was about 2 hours long and very informative. We enjoyed learning about what CROW offered and seeing the ambassador animals. The staff was very friendly and the proceeds from the gift shop go to support their much needed work. Our group consisted of young kids and... More

Live cams of rehabilitation areas and intake room, staff talks on animal rescue, an excellent multimedia education area, and available tours make a visit to this unique and important clinic a rich experience. My wife and I visited on one day, and signed up for a tour of the hospital for the next. What is really special about the operation... More

A visit to Sanibel is enhanced by a visit to the CROW clinic which treats nearly 4000 sick, injured and orphaned wild animals a year in a state-of-the-art facility with the aim to heal, rehabilitate and release the animals back to the area from which they were rescued. These wild animals not only come from Sanibel but from all of... More

While it's a great cause, it was quite limited when we were there as far as any animals being rehabilitated. It's got a lot of educational material for kids, as well as videos.

Excellent educational place for families to help non Floridians, and Floridians, to understand the flora and fauna of the region. Be sure to take in a program if you can.

This place takes rescued animals and works with them until restored to ability to reenter the environment. A lecture on their work can be had and video cameras show the "patients" in the clinic. The gift shop is wonderful.
