Blind Pass is a great shelling beach. There is a sandbar a short distance out where you can snorkel and find lots of great shells, but right now, there is a dredging operation going on, so it isn't very scenic looking at all that equipment. Fishermen seem to love it and the sunsets are beautiful. A reminder to all: Handicapped stickers entitle... More

This beach was disappointing the undertow is string and there were signs for no swimming. Lot's of basic shells but no Shark teeth or other fossils. Parking is $4 Hr and not really worth it.

There is no one who enjoys Blind Pass and Turner Beach more than I do, but unless you enjoy the sound of a droning ship's engine idling, wait until the dredging project is finished. I was just there on Tuesday, April 17. I thought I had read that the dredging project was completed, but I found the dredging ship still... More

Blind Pass Beach and Bowman Beach are both on Sanibel Island. We tried to go to Blind Pass Beach in the evening but the parking lot was full so we ended up at Bowman Beach. Bowman was covered in shells.. nothing like we have ever seen before... The sunset was beautiful and it was low tide so the kids could... More
