We have visited numerous beaches in FL. This is 2rd tier beach at best. Nothing too bad just not as good as so many wonderful beaches in FL. First, it costs $6 to cross a bridge to reach. Then pay $4 per hour to park; Second, very limited parking. You may have to wait 20-30 for an open spot under... More

If you can, try to visit Gulfside (also known as Algiers Beach) on an early morning low tide, because that way you will see all sorts of very interesting live sea creatures. I recommend you walk to the left after leaving the parking lot and crossing over onto the beach itself. Walk about half a mile along the beach to... More

Ok, so you have to walk a bit to get over to this beach. Parking is on the OTHER SIDE of the main road that the beach is along. So wear your comfy shoes and be prepared to walk a little ways to get out to this lovely beach. There's not a ton of parking but enough to go around... More

We came across this completely by accident. It is absolutely worth the visit (if for nothing else but for a happy "find")

Found this beach by taking a bike ride and exploring. It is located off of Algiers Lane which turns into an unpaved road as it nears the beach. You must pay to park (machine at location) or use a pass purchased on island. Clean rest roomss and a single covered picnic table.

We are staying at a condo near this beach. It's about the same as the other beaches on Sanibel. It's not very big, but you can walk past this beach on either side. Just remember that the parking for beaches on Sanibel have gone up to $4 per hour. They have parking police and if you get caught past the... More

This is a nice beach, down a little road. There are a lot of shells of various kinds to be found. This beach offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I hope to return some time soon again
