Recently renovated ....large, beautiful. Fantastic online resources. Staff are very helpful. The addition is very large. As expected there is a complete Florida and wildlife section. Regularly the bring in guest noted authors. Also a good selection of films and documentaries areavaiable

We woke up to a chilly day here on Sanibel and were looking for an indoor activity. We attended storytime with our 3 and 5 year old, and it was great!! I highly recommend a visit!

Recently remodeled, our library is absolutely the best resource on Sanibel, for islanders and tourists. We even have the most helpful librarians & IT personnel. "Newly reimagined" it's so vast you can get happily ever after lost!

Excellent place to relax, with comfortable reading areas including a porch. It is easy to get a library card the day of your visit.

Yes, you can print at Sanibel Public Library. It is ten cents per page for black & white. One dollar for a color print out. No charge to use the WiFi. Please call the Library at (239) 472-2483 to ask a specific question... More
