What a nice little library! We got a visitor card so we could borrow childrens' books (yay, less to carry in my suitcase), pleasure reading for myself and my husband, and DVDs to watch in the evening (adult and kids). The space is very comfortable...More

Number one attraction? Yes...nice folks. Yes...buy a whole bag of used books for a dollar. But it's just a normal, well run, nice hometown library, like the one in my hometown.

Recently remodeled, our library is absolutely the best resource on Sanibel, for islanders and tourists. We even have the most helpful librarians & IT personnel. "Newly reimagined" it's so vast you can get happily ever after lost!

Nice setting off the beaten path. Large roomy multi-level building with various attractive sections for different age/interest groups. Comfortable seating. I especially enjoyed the open deck with beautiful views. Very conducive to reading and learning.

Yes, you can print at Sanibel Public Library. It is ten cents per page for black & white. One dollar for a color print out. No charge to use the WiFi. Please call the Library at (239) 472-2483 to ask a specific question... More
