Williams Park is shady and green, a nice respite from the city surroundings. It’s a great place for special events, too.

Everybody who lives in this city knows the reputation of Williams Park. As a visitor I know it too. A couple of weeks ago, on a sunny afternoon, I decided to walk through it. It was almost empty - no passers by, no visitors, no...More

I went to this park three times while in St. Petersburg. The first time I walked through it alone around noon. Soon I realized I was not alone. Homeless individuals slept everywhere and a group collected at a far corner. I was uncomfortable in this...More

Between the mobs of homeless people here and the questionable sobriety of the 59 bus driver, I generally avoid this park and find alternate, alternate transportation when attending festivities in the downtown area. A blight that the City chooses to ignore.

Yes, they allow pets on leash, as it says on their information board in the park. You can also inquire by calling St. Pete Store and Visitor Center at (727)-388-0686. Enjoy your visit!
