Maximo Park has lots of tree shade, Disc Golf Course, boat launch, playground and bay beach access. Park include old Indian Mounds...so land is somewhat built up in this flat part of Florida. Not a white sand Gulf beach...but easy free access with less crowds...More

Dog, partner and I went last month.......bit hard to get to (we live on the beach and not great with GPS). Beautiful small beach and a small look out.....picnic areas and very peaceful.....very nice views.

Went here for the afternoon, was very pleasant. Many boaters launching there boats to go fishing. Washrooms available.

While not large, this park has a lot to offer. Boat launches are real nice. Beautiful views. Nice walk and a frisbee golf course!

We joined our daughter & son-in-law & 2 grandkids here to kill some time before they had to head to the airport. The playground was wonderful, the kids loved it. Plenty of monkey bars and slides. Just outside the fenced in park were picnic tables...More

Trailer/ vehicle parking is not permitted over night. The park currently closes at 8 P.M.

Actually there is a bike trail that's marked as you enter the park. I've never ridden on the trail so don't have first hand info. I don't think the bike trails are like off-road trails.
