Much of Tropicana field has changed throughout the years since the Rays started playing here in 1998. The idea was 'if you build it, they will come'. Well, they did and the Rays (ne. Devil Rays) came to play. I've been to about 60 games over the years and the best thing I can say is the weather inside is... More

Maybe I am a bit jaded having grown up in Chicago, but this just doesn't have that ball park feel. The game is hard to pay attention to and most coffee the fans (if that is what you call them) are more concerned with getting another beer then watching baseball. This stadium is more like a cranaval then a ball... More

A nice change of pace if your vacationing (or visiting family) in the Tampa/Clearwater area during baseball season (which is roughly half the year). While the stadium lacks the charm of some other more vintage or simply open air ball parks...the game is still baseball and its relaxing pace is a perfect vacation fit.

Came for the Shrine Game, working vacation. The field itself is awful, mismatched patches of turf that's quite hard and unappealing. Elevator to club level is slow and not nearly big enough to handle pre and post game traffic. Bathrooms are showing age and need repair. What concessions I saw were adequate for a venue

I am amazed that ball players do not demand a better playing site as it is rather dismal inside with a bunch of strange ground rules. On the plus side they some of the very best food served in any ball park. The rays do deserve better however but there are lots oft Bing's outside to do in the area... More

We enjoying going to the Tropicana Field. The facility is clean and I love that it is air conditioned. My granddaughter likes ringing the cow bell :) A nice place to enjoy baseball.

It is always nice here, parking is crazy but we are talking about baseball. I loved it, but I try to eat and drink before I come.

Tropicana Field is an indoor baseball stadium that is home to the Tampa Bay Rays. It has good sight lines and is out of the hot Florida sun. The concession stands serve good food at decent prices. Check out the all you can drink sodas.

This is the worst of any major league park I have ever visited. The place has zero personality. Unless you are an avid Rays fan - I would pass on the experience.
