I love this little museum, parts of which are dedicated to St. Pete's history, and parts of which explain St. Pete's history as related to other issues. There was quite a large baseball exhibition during our visit but as neither my boyfriend and I are...More

What I remember best about this museum is the long history of marketing St Petes for its warm climate and water access. I came away thinking that the economic basis has changed little since the city was founded. I guess there were fish camps early...More

This was a smaller museum but enjoyed learning about the history of St. Petersburg. The special exhibit of the solders thru pictures was very interesting. I also enjoyed the story of the first commercial flight.

Loved visiting with the curator who recently acquired a special collection of a photography collection of American wars. That & the airline collection plan were very educational.

Stayed 11 days. Great stay. Denny's next door. Bus line down the street. Especially want to thank Shakeia for her help; she was always professional, friendly, and helpful.

This is not a commercialized museum. The layout of their selective exhibits are functional. This is a small museum but not one that desperately takes in any collection they can find; always current.
