What a great place to visit...with or without children. If your children are with you, have them get the map with the scavenger hunt at the entrance. It's sure to keep them entertained. If they are not, just enjoy the place. I sure recommend taking the guided tour. Our guide - Scott - was great. Lots of knowledge, jokes and... More

The artwork and staff was wonderful. We were there for my son's wedding. Not your typical visit. But it was a lovely experience. While not an enorous fan of Dali I still found touring the galleries entertaining and educational. Maybe not the thing for young children as the art may seem "weird" to them. But the staff is knowledgeable and... More

I visited the Dali Museum in August 2016 with my husband and kids (boys, 8 and 10). It was a rainy weekday before school started. The building is spectacular, the art is superb. But I was underwhelmed by the staff and security. I'm a local and worked downtown while this location was constructed and admired often on walks. I wanted... More

While a small museum, the Dali museum houses a fair amount of art. All of the employees and volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable. One in particular made sure we didn't miss an opportunity to see a virtual reality presentation of one of Dali's pieces. I do recommend going after 5pm on Thursdays for the reduced price ($10 for adults instead... More

Tour guide was very knowledgeable in the history of the artist. She explained the interpretations of the paintings and pointed out certain features in the paintings that was in the mind of the artist at that time.

This is an especially unusual museum. It contains Dali's artwork include some of his earlier pencil drawings. I was astonish at the size of his work. The Ship 1943 was one of the most striking painting. Great Day Trip.

Special detour to visit for 3 hours was well rewarded. Not cheap to enter but worth it to see so many Dali works in one place. On arrival you have a stunning building purpose built in a Dali-esqe style that compliments the exhibition. The complimentary headset commentary sets are good but if you can join one of the free tours... More

DON'T GO ON THE WEEKEND! It is sooooooo crowded. Don't try to see the entire museum in one day. Select a collection. Enjoy the genius of this mad Spaniard. So many wonderful pieces, so little time.

We attended the wedding of close friends. This was a dream wedding venue. We had private access in the evening after the ceremony. It is s beautiful gallery with stunning architecture as well as the priceless collection of Dali pieces. The docents are all knowledgeable and enthusiastic about explaining some of the features and subtleties of the art. They were... More
