Great park to visit. Has lots of wildlife other parks do not have. Has a specific display of exotic animals, tour guides, educational exhibits for kids. Nice walk-through the park with numerous picnic tables and shelters. Well kept with a natural beauty.

This is a beautiful nature park where you can walk along the boardwalk and enjoy nature in the midst of the city. We walked toward the water in hopes of seeing gators and see gators we did!

Mosquitoes are plentiful- come prepared. There are many small gators and wildlife if you keep your eyes open. There is an overlook tower to help you see the wildlife in the lake. Its quiet and relaxing.

It was a beautiful walk with really nice walkways so you don't always have to be watching where you walk or for sure footing. We loved looking at the turtles. Saw some alligators which made us really happy because we have not saw any before....More

Recently visited in the mid-afternoon weekday. Park is rather nice but not a WOW factor type of place. Have boardwalks (which posts No Dogs) which lead in a few different path directions which is nice. But we were there for about an hour and hardly...More

What a great place to visit!. With visitors down from the Northeast, we walked the boardwalk and encountered a whole family of Mother and young alligators. A Great Experience!!

Nice place to take a lunch and enjoy the outdoor life in Florida. More often this is a quiet park with lots of parking and wildlife to check out.

Nice nature walk on boardwalk. However, be careful as it can be very slippery at times. Really have to stop and look to see wildlife. However, very peaceful. Pretty shaded.

Sawgrass Lake Park is a great place for a quiet picnic and a chance to see some wildlife. I have seen coral snakes, gators, turtles and fish. There is a nice variety of birds as well. Much of the park is shaded. The boardwalks going...More

Taking a slow walk to see all the wildlife can take around 1 hour. It is a path that can be cut short if one is out of time. How much you see depends on day...animals and birds do not keep a schedule.
