We have visited this park on two different occasions now and both times have found it to be very enjoyable. The park rangers we have talked to have all been very friendly and informative. Take the outdoor walk when you have finished inside but remember...More

Visited while on our way north for the summer. It is amazing the history oc this area. The ranger, a native, knew all about the area and its history. This is the spot the Wakulla and St. Marks rivers merge and head to the Gulf....More

There isn't a lot to see at this fort except a later constructed fort and a video. Best part is understanding its strategic location. Combine this with lunch or trip to st marks wildlife for a day trip.

This is my favorite state park in Florida. Located where the Wakulla and St. Marks Rivers meet, it is the site of Spanish forts dating back to the 1600s. There are old stone walls from the Spanish era and the view of the place where...More

We visited last weekend primarily to test out our new boat engine at the end of the park. The park is well-equipped, not too crowded with plenty of room for family picnics. I now realize it has a lot more historic elements as well! Head...More
