This pier extends out quite far into the ocean. You have to pay $1.00 to walk out there. Fishermen seem to enjoy it. Good place for viewing assorted birds and surfers.

This is a great pier to fish off early in the morning. It's clean with a lot of locals fishing on a regular basis.

We visited on a Wednesday, which is when they have local vendors with crafts, music and food. Nice, friendly atmosphere and fun place to shop before going on beach. Very nice splash area for the children. Clean restrooms, some retail shops and beautiful beach.

I've always enjoyed piers, even as a kid. Between the fishermen and crazy surfers below, there's nothing special going on but it's still a cool way to go further out to sea, without actually going out to sea. lol

We had a good time here, walking up and down the beach. They had a flea market that was good. Got a little sunburned.
