I went to the Safety Harbor Songfest a few years ago and then again earlier this year. It was a blast with some truly great musicians. While I was in town, I went to see the Whimzey House. What fun! Such creativity and color. Loved...More

Stopped to see all the decorations and unique uses of bowling balls. As a resident of Safety Harbor and an avid league and tournament bowler, I obviously could not miss out on seeing this fascinating house.

We took the kiddos out here for the day and absolutely enjoyed seeing all the unique and creative artwork. We walked around the grounds for a little bit taking pictures and enjoying it all before heading downtown to see the rest.

We like interesting things, so naturally we had to see this. It’s very artsy and unique. However it needs a little clean up. The area was looking ran down almost as though no one lived there. It’s a must see if you are in the...More

Brought a friend to see this one-of-a-kind home. Nearby homes are "decorating" in the same style now, making it well worth the trip!

The Whimzey Bowling Ball House is something to see when visiting charming Safety Harbor. With many local artisans in the area, the Whimzey house is a showcase of sorts for some of these artists. Stop in and check out the whimzey.

Owner owns the Safety Harbor Arts Center, off 2nd St. it’s a glass menagerie, as you are greeted by a large painted elephant. Music, poetry slam, art store, gallery, VERY friendly crowd. Love it!

Daytime hours are best. Sometimes there are home tours for fundraisers but this is the artists home , so is not open to the public most times. Well worth the time to visit.
