Beautiful park. Looks like it was just repaved. Beautiful Florida Live Oak's that form a canopy over the road. Benches, picnic areas, play ground, walk or ride your bike, sit and read a book or walk in the water. There is a boat launch for a small fee. Very well maintained.

I was in town with spare time and I rented a cruiser bike at the Safety Harbor Spa and the employee said that I cannot miss the park. It's historic, the tallest Indian Mound I've ever seen, plenty of history, 100's of huge, old oak trees, biking or walking, it's great. Soak in the history of that property. Amazing.

This park is on the upper Tampa Bay - hidden away from the business - it has several covered picnic areas, walking paths, bathrooms, private picnic sites, children's play areas, an historic Indian mound, and a boat launch (which does require paying for). I go here to just get away and relax. Hubby & I have gone here to launch... More

Beautiful park that overlooks Tampa Bay towards Oldsmar. We always visit when staying in Safety Harbor as plenty of shady trees, picnic areas, toilet facilities, that are easily accessible from the roadway that runs the length of the park. No real beach area but can get right up to water's edge on grassy areas with a couple of small sandy... More

We enjoyed a family picnic here with folks from 2 to 60plus and everyone enjoyed themselves. There is lots of shade cover, lots of picnic tables (besides the shelter areas which were fully booked), a playground area for the young ones, space to throw a ball with the older ones, and some nice walking areas along the water. We were... More

I come to this park often with my dog, he loves it a lot we usually park by the boat ramp and walk along the water all the way through the park. At the other end of the park there is a boardwalk over the water which connects you to another sidewalk outside of the park which you can walk... More

Great location for persons of all ages. My mother enjoyed the quiet waterfront views, gentle bayside walking path and Indian mound and history, and my daughter loved the rock climbing walls and playground that are beautifully situated in the park with a canopy of live oaks and palms providing shade. Great park!
