We visited the island by taxi (young children) and by kayak (teenagers). Once on the island we used the beaches and had great fun. A storm was coming in on our way back but it was still ok to kayak, just! Worth a visit

Great island in the middle of it all. So peaceful and serene. Feels like a tropical island in the middle of nowhere. Great picnic area, great place to walk, swim and or snorkel.

According to seatemperature October seat temperatures near West Palm Beach range from about 84 degrees down to just below 81 degrees. Pretty nice, I'd say.
