This unique eighty acre tropical park is situated in the Intracoastal Waterway near the Lake Worth Inlet in close proximity to Phil Foster Park, the City of Riviera Beach, and the Port of Palm Beach. The park is a favorite destination for boaters and provides numerous recreational opportunities for visitors. Fishing and snorkeling are popular activities in the beautiful clear waters that surround the island. Guarded and unguarded swimming beaches provide the perfect access for bathers of all ages to enjoy the sun and fun. For visitors looking for an overnight experience, a twenty-site Campground is available for tent campers by reservation only and reservations can be made by contacting the park office.. Local Attraction: Palm Beach Maritime Museum and John F. Kennedy Bunker. excellent snorkeling, can bring food. can rent snorkel off ferry, ferry ride takes debit cards, you can sneak on your own alcohol(dont drink on ferry) walk around to other side of island for partyboats. but island closes early, so get there early

Family went to snorkel on Peanut Island. We took the water taxi. Nice place. We walked around the island a bit. I would definitely recommend.

This is a MUST-SEE island and park with picnic areas, many different beaches, and perfect sand. The water is gorgeous and offers plenty of play time in safe waters. There's even the "pizza boat" which sell pizza to the beach goers. There are clean restrooms....More

Short 10 minute boat ride to the island. Sandbars everywhere... just bring enough shade, food and drinks, just watch out for boats!

Yes, we saw lots of dogs playing by the beach and sandbanks. The ferry taxi allows animals.

On the east side of the island is best place, that is where the beach is. There is a per person fee to ride the ferry, that is the only cost.
