Cute little center

Great experience at the Peace river Wildlife Center. The kids loved it. The birds were very accessible and visible, the staff was knowledgable and welcoming.

The setting was well maintained for the birds being rehabilitated. Nice gift shop also. It adjoins a nice park with trails and picnic tables and a boat launch.

The place is so well kept and the animals are all loved so much. There is the little white owl mascot that is adorable. Donations help to care for the orphan birds. Angels work there who tend to the birds. Will go back to buy another sweatshirt as it is the best made sweatshirt I have ever had! Just a... More

LOVED it here! The work they do is so important and it's great that places like this exist - they need our support! You could easily spend 1-2 hours here visiting with the animals, learning of their histories, and / or watching them interact together (if they have buddies in the same area as them). It's really a lovely and... More

Bless them for what they do. These people are all volunteers and do an excellent job and they all love what they do. A great place to get rid of extra cash.

I love this wildlife center and think the volunteers who donate their time to help and educate people are wonderful. Every time we visit Punta Gorda we stop here with the kids and the volunteers are always so informative and helpful. It's reassuring to know that there is a place like this to look after injured wildlife.

I've heard about this facility quite a bit. Family volunteers there feeding the animals. We live far away so having the opportunity to visit and meet the other amazing workers was wonderful. They are doing great work either rehabbing wildlife to release or if too injured, giving them a secure home to live out their days. A must see for... More
