Rented a house here with adult family. The beach was lovely, but we were warned to take all our beach things in at night. However, we noticed that many people left their canopies up overnight. We loved the surf and enjoyed the Trading Post and...More

Cape San Blas is a trip back to Old Florida at it’s finest. There are only a few restaurants, souvenir shops on the Cape itself, and to get groceries you must go into Port Saint Joe. When you go, make sure you have everything you...More

I was amazed at the change to the Cape since my last visit in 2012. The lighthouse has been moved to Port St. Joe and the island has become a sub-division. Not much to do and much harder to find a place to park and...More

Miles of vacation homes along beautiful gulf beaches and bay. A few small stores for essentials. Restaurants and shops are located in Port St. Joe and Apalachicola, about 25 and 40 miles away.

Sorry, I have never scalloped there. You may want to stop in Port St Joe on your way to CSB. I know friends who have scalloped in Port St Joe bay.

There are a few stores in Port St Joe. A piggly wiggly and a dollar general which has groceries as well. Nothing like a Walmart but between the two you should find what you need.
