I visited here with my 4 kids. The ranger absolutely made this visit for us. She really took the time to engage with the kids and verbally explained some of the history of the area. Very educational. I'd recommend about 30-45 minutes for a visit.

You can learn a lot about FL by going through this museum. It's small so it doesn't take a lot of time to get through it.

Doesn't take very long to fully enjoy this small museum and memorial. Very helpful lady attendant to answer all your questions. Quick and easy way to learn about the early history of Port St Joe.

This small museum is great for history lovers. It tells the story of Florida's first constitution and the early history of Port St Joe. There is an ancient animatronic exhibit representing a scene of the convention which is interesting. The ranger on duty is very helpful and there are several older books about the constitution and its founders that they... More

This is small so it is easy to appreciate all of it. My husband is a fifth generation Floridian so we like to go to sites of Florida history. The town is out of the way, so if you are there, definitely take the time to see this.

Wow! I cannot believe that I have been living in Florida now for 19 years and just visiting the outstanding museum. Many times small is best and in this case with out a doubt the Constitution Convention State Park has earned my respect. As a matter of fact, I now plan on offering this location as one of the prizes... More
