Good place to watch from if there's anything to watch. We were just coming out from the museum across the tracks when.....the gates went down, the lights started flashing, and the thunder of an Amtrak train was in the distance. We weren't 30 feet from...More

One of a kind....A trip back to yesteryear. Quite an interesting stop. 'Makes you realize just how integral Plant City was to the railway 100+ yrs. ago.

He is in Kindergarten and knows all there is about trains. We went on a Sunday so not open but he still liked the platform and taught his old Aunt Michelle much about the 5 lines and signals and such. Nice day.

Took a trip here from Orlando after reading about it, stayed a good couple of hours and saw nothing, had been told it was a busy place especially on Mondays but nothing. Best bet would be to check running schedules before you make a trip

I just discovered Sat evening 5-7 pm there are two pretty consistent trains. But, there is no set schedule so it’s hit or miss. I live in area and heat trains all day.
