The Pensacola MESS Hall is a hands on science museum dedicated to the need to "mess around" with math, engineering, science, and other stuff. Visitors explore science by creating their own experiments, whether at our stationary exhibits or with our "mess kits". Mess kits are individual activities for creating tools for discovery, many with take home parts for future learning. The entire family will make discoveries together.

Went with 7 and 5 yr olds and we had a delightful day! Lots to do, especially if you help the kids--and might learn something in the process! Once you've done everything, you can do favorites again. Helpful and polite employees.

Visited with my eleven year old. We spent around 4 hours here going through all of the "mess kits" doing experiments. She loved it and would go back again since they change their kits often.

What a great concept. Any child, and adults for that matter, can go here for a couple hours of fun and science!! Hands on exhibits that keep the kids engaged while having fun and learning.

Most impressively the activities align with varying grade levels of Florida Standards in maths and sciences. They activities can be as simple or challenging as the learner makes them, and all bodies in the room were engaged during the 2 trips I made with a...More

We are glad you had a great time. Kindergarteners are natural scientist, and many enjoy a visit with their family. However, as the facility can be very stimulating, we find that our outreach programs are most suitable for kindergarten classrooms and do not typically book...More

My 8 and 10 year olds love this place. I've seen older kids have fun. As an adult, I really enjoy this place. If they enjoy hands on learning and exploring, they'd love it.
