Took my granddaughter here while she was visiting. The place is small and old but appears well kept. The best part of the visit were the hands on tables. Kids get to handle all kinds of sea life in water filled tables. My granddaughter loved...More

This place does not have the sparkling fresh scent of a place that gets power-washed every night, nor does it have a ride vehicle that provides exposition while staring passively out a window. What it lacks in polish it more than makes up for in...More

We took our kids here thinking it was more of an aquarium. It is actually more of a rehabilitation for injured sea life. We got to see lots of interesting things. Even got to see sharks. The kids really enjoyed it!

Great day trip. Was able to get up close to coastal marine life. This was well worth the money and the staff actually cares about you having a good visit. They will feed the fish and give you educational information

Small, older but "touch" tanks and informational signs make this a definite stop for families. It's history and continuing service to Gulf of Mexico fish preservation is wonderful to see.

We visited the aquarium while vacationing on Saint George Island. Since SGI isn't overly developed, we decided to take the kids to this on a red flag day. I'll admit, I didn't know what to expect when we drove up. From the outside, it looks...More
