An absolutely beautiful vineyard with superb wine! Mike and his wife were wonderful to us two Irish girls who stayed there for about 3 hours chatting away. It’s the only organic vineyard that uses biodynamic farming so if you are interested in that it’s an...More

First ever visit to Cape vineyard and we'll definitely be back as this place is turning out some of the finest wines in the county. Not just excellent but *interesting*--for example try their hopped vidal if you get there before it sells out. Delicious and...More

This place wasn’t listed on any of the wine maps we saw and we just happened to pass it, so we dropped in. They had cute little lambs running around outside, which you don’t typically see in the city, so it was pretty cool. They...More

This young winery (solo operation by Kristan Rogers who manages and owns and creates the wines) is worth a visit for an afternoon road trip to the eastern part of Prince Edward County. She created and dedicated a special wine called ‘Super Moon’ that is...More

Stopped here just because it was close to the cheese shop; the wine was quite tasty, though limited in choice for reds. That said, service was nice and the products in the shop were nice as well, lots of quality local artisans.

Maybe it was the time that we visited, but we found that there was a small selection of wines available at Cape Vineyards (3 whites and 1 red). Our group wasn't overwhelmed by the wines either. There is a beautiful outdoor patio that overlooks the...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stop here. Owner is super friendly and takes the time to explain the wines. Pinotage rosé is lovely and the dry Pinot Gris was a nice surprise. We enjoyed our wines with a plate of local cheese and charcuterie on the...More

Fully acknowledging that wines are a personal taste, we found the whites too reflective of the limestone terroire. However, their rosé was a decent surprise. Still a new vineyard, but good potential. Maybe the whites need to sit for a couple of years.More

Thank you for taking the time to review our winery. Yes wine is a personal taste and capturing the true limestone terroir of our vineyard which was planted in the early 90's is our ultimate goal! Happy you found our rose a decent surprise and...More

We stopped by this lovely Winery and absolutely loved it! The Owners were hospitable and very knowledgeable about their wines! The Merlot was delicious as were the other tastings! The patio was beautiful and property stunning! We will definitely be back!

This Winery is about 24 K (16 miles) from Picton. It is well worth the drive and I would advise you to bypass any other attractions you may see on the way to Cape Vineyards as this small winery is a WINNER. You can visit...More
