While visiting friends on the island we joined them on their everyday bike ride to the point. We always see a variety of wildlife. Very peaceful place.

Preserve does not charge an admission. Many trails and lookouts for hiking. We chose a beach trail along the gulf with nice views of Anna Maria Island and of the Skyway bridge to St. Pete! Lots of inexpensive fun!
