Visited her for the first time and we loved it. There are several different walks that you can take with various lengths. Some of the walks you have to climb over or under the odd tree.

Emerson Point is a nice place for walking or biking. Nice sidewalk and trails. Nice picnic area and view of the Manatee River and Tampa Bay. At the entrance is a area with history of the area.

I always take my honey there to watch the sunsets. Spectacular views watching the sun sink into the Bay or Gulf.

We live in Palmetto and cannot visit Emerson Point enough. Walking the nature trails is our favorite activity. We see different wildlife every time. We love the lookout tower and the gigantic native American mound. Enjoy a picnic in the shade beside the Manatee River.

Emerson Point Preserve is a must see on Sneed Island. It hosts several scenic trails of varying lengths. You can launch kayaks in the mangroves or Manatee River. Fishing is available and an amazing bike path! So beautiful!!

Growing up in Manatee county, it’s a tradition for the schools to visit here every year! Private beach, nice trails and views. Good for picnics, exercise, walking/jogging and learning about the plants and habitats. Good for all ages! The beach also has baby crabs
