We walk a lot parks and the trails here are high on our list of pretty walks. Best trail is the Terra Ceia Trail. Although there are a lot of trail maps posted, most don't show where you are at the moment so it's easy to get lost. For Floridians, there is a fair amount of shade on the trails... More

My friend an I enjoyed our walk on all the trails and some time on the little beach area. It is sort of "out of the way" so it was nice there were very few people here. We enjoyed the shaded trails and the beach walk. I wish the maps and guides were better but we didn't get too lost... More

Special place right here in Palmetto. It has trails, beaches and fishing. There is a lookout overlooking Tampa Bay, amazing. It is totally free. Great place to go.

We spent a very enjoyable 2 hours hours. Once you drive in the entrance there are a few car parks on the right. We stopped at each car park and walked. From the first small car park you can walk over the smell bridge onto the board walk. A few minutes further on and there is an osprey nest at... More

This was our first visit here, and we'll definitely be back. To get a sense of the park, we drove to the very end, parked, and walked along the gulf side trail. There were many people relaxing along the paths, enjoying the view and the quiet. There were also several groups fishing, including a great blue heron keeping an eye... More

We didn't even scratch the surface of this park, but we loved what we saw. A beautiful, quiet, and unspoiled park with covered picnic areas. Clean and quiet. Very pretty. We parked near the water and my children fished. There were only a few other people around, and everyone was very friendly and nice. I would definitely return to explore... More

Binoculars bicycles and fishing poles! Clear sunsets out to the gulf horizon. Short drive through Palmetto Florida off US 41. A must see on the way to Bradenton Riverfront and Anna Maria Island.
