I had small kids with me (3 under the age of 7) so I couldn’t go to the trails that went far, but the 3 smaller trails we went down were really fun. My kids love bugs and snails and lizards and all things creepy...More
We live in Palmetto and cannot visit Emerson Point enough. Walking the nature trails is our favorite activity. We see different wildlife every time. We love the lookout tower and the gigantic native American mound. Enjoy a picnic in the shade beside the Manatee River.
Emerson Point Preserve is a must see on Sneed Island. It hosts several scenic trails of varying lengths. You can launch kayaks in the mangroves or Manatee River. Fishing is available and an amazing bike path! So beautiful!!
Growing up in Manatee county, it’s a tradition for the schools to visit here every year! Private beach, nice trails and views. Good for picnics, exercise, walking/jogging and learning about the plants and habitats. Good for all ages! The beach also has baby crabs

Hi, Most of your questions can be answered at the website. Trip Adviser won't let me post that for you. So you will need to search Emerson Point Preserve in Manatee County. It isn't to far from the pavilion to the bathrooms at the first place. The Pavilion at the end though has only porta potties. We have never had to use the pavilion so I am not sure of how one would reserve that.
