Great Blue Water

Good for a few hours to see a great beach. The parking can be limited and expensive. Don't chance parking on the 1 hour slots. You will get a ticket.

It's just a beach. Nothing special or unusual or distinct. Seemed clean and safe. Parking was tricky.

Great beach to walk on. Ned to take your on beach chairs, towels and umbrella. The ocean is beautiful here. Not much sea weed the day we were here. Can change depending on the tides .

My wife and I were at the Palm Beach municipal beach on September 3, 2016. Generally, the water is great. It is clean, warm, and the swimming experience is very nice. However, we were unpleasantly surprised by certain aspects you hae to deal with there. The parking rates along Ocean Blvd near the beach are horrendous. They charge $5 per... More

We loved this beach. It was not at all crowded on weekend days. you can easily park right next to the sand. The beach is clean and the water is clear and pretty

It's a nice beach but it's expensive to park and basically as this is opposite some of the most expensive houses in the world so maybe they don't really want you there so bear that in mind with law enforcement! The beach has recently suffered from a huge amount of erosion so lots of the pipes and beach defences are... More

This is a beautiful beach. Not rocky at all, no seaweed, very clear and clean water. The sand gets very hot so just wear your flip flops down to the waterline. I saw lots of people with floats so I guess it is ok to bring them.

My two teenagers and I spent a couple hours in the afternoon swimming, looking for shells and walking the beach. It was so nice. I would bring a big blanket or seating, not a canopy as the winds would pick up every so often. We had bought a canopy but did not bring it as the winds were up when... More

We had a nice time walking the beach at low tide. The beach drops off sharply so it might be tricky at high tide. We found many shells in our travels. The water was warm and clear even my husband went swimming! Parking wasn't too bad if you got there early. But kind of pricey at $5 per hour. But,... More

Magnificent, accessible beach right in the heart of Palm Beach. A Favorite of surfers. Metered hourly parking is good (you won't be able to park on side streets as they are zone restricted). Life Guards on duty during main beach hours. Very popular and for good reason.
