Excellent trail for running, can turn the loop into a figure-8 to give variety to your run. Check the weather before going, the back half the trail tends to floods if there’s been a big rain within a week of your visit.

Stop at the river bank every time the trail touches it, then don’t make a sound for a few minutes. The wilderness comes alive with birds, fish, gators, turtles, etc... saw 2 gators approx 8 ft, enjoying the peaceful side of the river, opposite people....More

This is a wonderful slice of wild Florida surrounded by suburbs. Looped trail is blazed and can be completed in about 1.5 hours walking leisurely and spending time at the water (tributary of Little Econ). Bring a dog and a bottled water/snacks. Best hikes in...More
